Survive.io is a game in which you have only one goal - to survive. Stay alive until the end, kill enemies, collect weapons and equipment to survive. Don't kill yourself and only play in a non-toxic zone. Only the best and the fastest survive. You have to move unnoticed and break the material around you, such as boxes, tables, chairs, rocks - all these can keep you alive. The game is played by thousands of players. Weapon
Weapons are an essential feature in Surviv.io that allow a player to damage or kill another player. They are the only way one player can harm or kill another player. The game features a wide variety of weapons, ranging from pistols to LMGs that can be obtained almost anywhere in the game world. There are many different types of weapons that you can find on the map. Rare weapons are harder to find in the game, especially early in the game. Some weapons can only be obtained in certain game modes, and others can only be obtained in special buildings or chests.
There are currently 10 types of weapons in the game: Throwables, Melee Weapons, Pistols, SMGs, Shotguns, Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, LMGs, DMRs, Cannons

Developed by two guys - Justin Kim and Nick Clark - Surviv.io is really well done combining the pure concept of .io games and the very popular battle royale game genre. If you like 2d games, Surviv.io is the game for you! Kim stated that their design philosophy during the development of the game was to allow the player to get into the game as quickly as possible by reducing the time between matches. The game is regularly updated with new items and maps, and regularly holds limited-time events with special game modes that offer exclusive weapons and cosmetics.
In December 2019 Survive.io has bought a gaming website Kongregate, and the company took over the development of the game. In a press release, the company said it hopes to "invest in game features, especially on mobile devices." Justin Kim expressed that the team is excited for Kongregate's team to create new features and expand the player experience for years to come.
