Cut the Rope Time Travel is a physics puzzle developed by ZeptoLab for iOS, Android and web browsers. Time Travel shares the main idea with previous games in the series, where players have to cut ropes to get Om Nom a candy. However, the game adds Om Nom ancestors, meaning that there are now two candies for two Noms in each level. This leads to puzzles where players will have to plan to feed both creatures at the same time.

With each piece of candy collected, players will receive stars, which are equal to points; the more stars obtained in a certain level, the more bonus points are won for other features like superpowers, which are used to help during puzzles. By pressing the camera button, players can view animated stories created by ZeptoLab, offering more information about Om Nom's ancestor.

Focused on time travel, the game consists of different time periods, from the Middle Ages to the Stone Age. Each of them regularly adds new obstacles and mechanisms to be used. Some of them are: chains can hold candies that need to be cut with a blade, a freeze button that stops all movement on the screen, bombs that will send everything in its radius and others.
