Tetranoid.io breathes new life into classic Arkanoid games. Instead of reinventing everything from the ground up, it takes original mechanics and 4 players. As a result, you have four players competing against each other in intense battles on the same playing field. Are you ready to experience the classic arcade game in a whole new way? If you've never played the original, you might be wondering: what's all the fuss about? What makes this title so legendary? Well, the easiest way to understand the appeal is to try it yourself, but here's the gist of it: the player controls a horizontal platform (paddle) at the bottom of the screen by moving it left and right; the goal is to destroy the blocks on top by hitting them with the ball, which can be launched and then deflected with the paddle. Some blocks break all at once, while others take several repetitions. There is one more caveat: if the player fails to deflect the ball and it crosses the bottom border of the screen, they lose one life.
Now imagine the same game with one modification: there are four players instead of one. Balls fly everywhere, blocks are destroyed from all directions - this is what a normal Tetranoid.io game looks like. If the ball enters your goal, you lose a life. When you lose all your lives, it's game over.
The controls work exactly as you'd expect: you can move the mouse or press A and D (alternatively, the arrow keys) to move the paddle left and right. The ball bounces automatically, you just need to predict the trajectory and adjust the position accordingly.
