TicTacToe : Cross Cross Cross
Our version has evolved a bit from the original version in ancient Egypt, letting kids play against the computer. However, what it teaches children has not changed. This classic game contributes to children's development in a number of ways, including their understanding of predictability, problem solving, spatial reasoning, hand-eye coordination and strategy.

Rules of playing TIC-TAC-TOE (Križić Kružić)

1. The game is played on a 3X3 square grid
2. You are X, your friend (or the computer) is O. Players take turns placing their clues in the empty squares.
3. The first player to get 3 of his symbols in a row (up, down, across or diagonally) is the winner.
4. When all 9 squares are filled, the game is over. If no player has 3 symbols in a row, the game ends in a draw.

How can I win at TIC-TAC-TOE?

In order to beat the computer or a friend (or at least draw), you have to use some strategy. Strategy means figuring out what you need to do to win.
Part of your strategy is trying to figure out how to get three X's in a row. The second part tries to figure out how to prevent the computer/opponent from getting three O symbols in a row.
After placing an X in the square, you start looking forward. Where is the best place for your next X? You look at the empty squares and decide which ones are good choices - which ones might get you three X's in a row.
You also have to watch where the computer places its O. This could change what you do next. If the computer gets two O symbols in a row, you must place the next X in the last empty square in that row, or the computer wins. You are forced to play a certain position or lose the game.
If you always pay attention and look ahead, you will never lose a game of Tic-Tac-Toe. You might not win, but at least you'll break even.
